First is Salvation

If you have become a new believer in Jesus Christ, this is some guidance.

To be sure of anything that someone may say about God, all you have to do is check the word of God. That is in the Bible. 

Like Salvation. 

If you are not sure of your salvation, or you are not a Christian, 

Say these words and believe.

I am a sinner. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life. I accept God's salvation. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and died for my sins and God raised Him from the dead so that I would not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus come  into my life. Save me and guide me throughout my life. Thank you. Praise be to God. Thank you, Jesus.

And tell someone because Christ said if you confess me before men I will confess you before the Father.   

In the Bible there are many gifts, begin reading and learning the ways of God.

Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Salvation Bible verses.

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 3:26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Corinthians 5:21  God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

 

Find fellow believers to grow with. If there are some bad influences, such as people, then it would be wise for you to build your Godly muscles before spending time with them. People in your life will see a change in you, that will show them the power of God in your life. 

Church. 

Find a church that fits you, try out different churches; you can start with where you live, a church you hear on the radio or TV. Go to a church and try a service and see how you like it, then try another church unless you really like the one you found. 

Very important on the church core beliefs.

You can find this on their websites. A Christian church core belief should be: there is one God with three parts: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As a believer, there are many, many things to learn, so if you are thinking of what I just wrote, that is the Trinity, and that is something to learn about too. God came down  to Earth in the flesh, Jesus Christ, to save the world by payment of sins. He died on the cross, was in the grave for three days, and rose again in body on the third day. After days on Earth, he ascended into Heaven and sent the Holy Spirit.   

We as believers are to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and love our neighbor. Now you and I are on a path to become as God wants us to be. We grow to be like Christ. We are to be forgiving; Christ paid the price for our sins and forgave us, made us richest. It is extremely important that we forgive.

Read the Bible every day. It does not have to be a lot. Just what works for you. A good place to start is the gospel according to John. 

Pray. You have something great now. Prayer. Very powerful. You get to communicate with God, the Almighty. That is pretty amazing. To be able to communicate with our heavenly Father. 

Congratulating you on your new life. Remember, God loves you, and other believers love you. Do well in your new life in Christ Jesus.
